Today’s PLAYER IN FOCUS see’s us talk with Brad Norman on his seasons at the FY6ers… You’ve been with Poulton for a few seasons now appearing in the first and reserve teams – how do you feel your game has developed since you first joined? “Since joining, I’ve become a lot more confident and smarter on the pitch. Being with Poulton for nearly two seasons has helped me understand the game better, especially with my positioning and decision-making in midfield” You’ve seen multiple managers in your time at Poulton, Ethan has implemented a solid playing philosophy in training and games, how does this help you? “Ethan’s clear playing style helps a lot because everyone knows their roles on and off the ball. This makes it easier for me in midfield to link play and press higher up the pitch, as knowing the team is working to the same plan is massively beneficial” What advice would you give to the younger players joining the reserves this season and pushing to be there next season? “Work hard, be patient, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Listen to the coaches, learn from the older players, and always look to improve areas of your game. But it’s not all about talent as if you also show commitment and hunger. Opportunities will come your way” What’s been the biggest lesson you’ve learned during your time with Poulton? “The biggest lesson has been staying patient and disciplined. As not every game goes your way, but it’s important to pick yourself up and do your job for the team” What are your targets for this season and beyond? “This season, I want to be consistent and help the team as much as I can to climb the league table. Looking ahead, I just want to keep improving my game, play an important role, and support the team’s success” Post Views: 17 6 Like Post navigation Player In Focus – Ben Liptrott Player In Focus – Tyler Hallan
